242. బాలసాహిత్య పురస్కార్2019 ప్రదానోత్సవం(ఐదవ భాగం): బెలగాం భీమేశ్వరరావు

 ఆ రోజు 2019 నవంబర్ 15 శుక్రవారం.ఉదయం

గం.9 కు అవార్డు గ్రహీత రచయితల సమావేశం

జరగబోయే భారతీయ విద్యాభవన్ లోని మినీ

హాలుకి రచయితలం  కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో

అకాడమీ వాహనాలలో చేరుకున్నాం.అక్కడ

సాహిత్య అకాడమీ అవార్డు చిహ్నం ఆ కిందన

దేవనాగరి లిపిలో సాహిత్య అకాడమీ అని ముద్రించిన బేగ్ అందించారు. అందులో రచయితల ప్రసంగ పాఠాల ప్రతులను పెట్టారు. బేగులందించిన దగ్గరే నిన్న ఫ్లెక్స్ చేసిన ఫోటోను కూడా ఇచ్చారు.అవన్నీ పట్టుకొని వచ్చి హాలులోని కుర్చీలలో కూర్చున్నాం.సమావేశానికి సాహిత్య అకాడమీ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ మాధవ్ కౌశిక్ గారు  అధ్యక్షత వహించారు.ఆయన ఒకొక్క రచయితను పేరు పెట్టి పిలవగానే వేదిక మీద ఏర్పాటు చేసిన పోడియం వద్దకు వెళ్ళి రచయితలు  వారి వారి అనుభవ ప్రసంగ పాఠాలు ఆంగ్లం లేదా హిందీ లో వినిపిస్తున్నారు.పోడియం ముందు భాగంలో Ministry of culture, Government Of India అని ఉన్న బేనర్ వేలాడి ఉంది. నా వంతు వచ్చింది.పేరు పిలిచి వేదిక మీదకు రావలసినదిగా ఆహ్వానించారు.నా ప్రసంగ

పాఠం వినిపించడానికి వేదిక మీదకు వెళ్ళాను.

సభాధ్యక్షులకు సభకు నమస్కరించి నా ప్రసంగ

పాఠం వినిపించసాగాను."I am a son of a 

teacher, who used to say many stories

during my holidays.We had the big 

Bookshelf with piles of story books like

Pedarasi Peddamma Kathalu,Sahasra

Sirascheda Chintamani Kathalu,Kasi majili Kathalu,Bhatti Vikramarka Kathalu.Anyhow,the continuous listening

of stories has ignited the interest and 

even I too attracted towards literature.

I used to spend my holidays at Municipal

Library and Zilla Parishat Branch Library

with books instead of playing here and

there and attracted towards books,

Later reading became my hobby and it

has paved a path to write stories and

poetry.When I was in class 7th I got

association with well - known author,

Sri.Tallapudi Venkata Ramana who was

our Drawing Teacher . He wrote many

songs for children.We listened his songs

which were published in magazines. In

that time,I got a book on Gowtama Buddha which was presented for me

for getting good marks in class 6th.

I read that book many times.The book

which was written in easier way has 

attracted me more.I got an opportunity

to read many books during my idle

time after completion of my class 12.

The books which I read in those days

have influenced me to walk towards

literature and it has been continuing

even today.My first children song namely

"CHILUKA" means parrot was published

in 1979 when I was working as 1st Class

teacher at Parvathipuram Municipal

School.One day I found that my students

were staring at a parrot on the tree nearby our school while I was teaching

them alphabets. Soon after , I stopped

teaching and wrote a small poem on

Parrot and explained it to them in a rhythmic manner.I found that glow in the

faces of children while I was singing the

small song and I came to know that children are more enthusiastic towards

songs and stories. Later I started writing

for children in a rhythmic way(praasa)

with complete information.In that time

The year of 1979 was announced as International Children year by U.N.O

then Andhra Pradesh Baalala Academy

organised 8 days workshop at Nagarjuna

Sagar in the direction of Dr.Velaga 

Venkatappayya for the development of

children literature.I was selected for

the workshop and attended it.I learnt

a lot in that workshop.Prominent writers

Like Yedida Kameswararao,Turaga 

Janaki Rani,Dr.Mukurala Ramireddi and

Dr.Kolakaluri Inaq,K.Sabha and some

others used to visit our workshop and

delivered lectures.I acquired knowledge

over writing from the workshop but 

unfortunately ,after reaching home 

I came to know that my dad was no more.My book "Taata Maata - Vargala Moota" was selected for Kendra Sahitya

Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2019.

Actually prominent story writer and Kendra Sahitya Akademi Awardee Sri

Kalipatnam Rama Rao master read the

book and appreciated me a lot.It was

A great blessing for me and later the book was selected for this National

Award.Now a days children literature

has taken new turns and the writers are

required to take electronic gadgets

like mobile phones, computers as the 

material for their stories.Now the stories

on our Indian mythology and folk stories

are have good demand.The author should not write same story again and

again.The authors should focus on 

environment centric stories We should

tell the children about the importance

of protecting nature,land and environment.These subjects should be

emphasized and it's the responsibility

of authors.I wrote many novels and the

process is still continuing. I also wrote

some books on Natural farming which

are used to farmers and school's students.During those days,our grandparents used to make sit their

grandchildren in their lap and say many

stories but now the elders are simply

giving a smartphone to their younger

and asking them to play with those 

electronic devices.This type of habits

should be given up; the elders should

say stories to the children in their

own.Now a day the mind sets of people

is not pleasant, they have many personal

works , programs but they shouldn't 

ignore their children.If they do so,we definitely see the change in mind sets of

children. Some of the parents are witnessing the tremendous change in

their children after taking personnel

care and reciting stories. This is the real

change I am expecting among the

parents and children too.Thanking you all." ఇదండీ రచయితల సమావేశంలో నా 

ప్రసంగం. నా ప్రసంగం తరువాత ఉర్దూ రచయిత

మొహమ్మద్ ఖలీల్ గారి ప్రసంగమయింది.

అధ్యక్ష స్థానంలో ఉన్న మాధవ్ కౌశిక్ గారు ముగింపు వచనాలు పలికారు. రచయితల సమావేశం జాతీయ గీతం జనగణమనతో

ముగిసింది. ఆ తరువాత విందు అక్కడే జరిగింది.

విందు తరువాత బసకు చేరుకున్నాం.మర్నాడు

నవంబరు16 ఉదయం 10 గం.కు చెన్నై విమానాశ్రయం చేరాం.11గం.కు విమానం

బయలుదేరి హైదరాబాద్ మధ్యాహ్నం 12.15 ని.కు చేరింది. మేము మా అబ్బాయి ఇంటికి

వచ్చేసరికి మధ్యాహ్నం 1గం.దాటిపోయింది.

ఇదండీ  కేంద్ర సాహిత్య అకాడమీ బాలసాహిత్య

పురస్కార్ అందుకొనే వరకు నా బాలసాహిత్య

ప్రయాణం. డిశంబరు 3న మా మనవడికి సుముఖ్

నందన్ అని పేరు పెట్టాం.4వ తేదీన హైదరాబాద్

నుంచి ట్రైన్ లో బయలుదేరి 5వ తేదీ మధ్యాహ్నం పార్వతీపురం చేరుకున్నాం.బాలలు వర్ధిల్లాలి! బాలసాహిత్యం వర్ధిల్లాలి!!బాలసాహిత్య రచయితలు వర్ధిల్లాలి!!!  నా బాలసాహిత్య ప్రయాణం చదివిన పాఠకులలో ఏ ఒక్కరు కొత్తగా కలం పట్టినా నా ప్రయత్నం ఫలించినట్లే!కొత్తగా రాస్తున్నవారికి కొత్త  కొత్త ఆలోచనలకు ప్రేరణ
