Constitution Day , also known as 'National Law Day', is celebrated in India on November 26 every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on January 26, 1950.
స్వతంత్ర భారతదేశంలో రాజ్యాంగ కమిటీ సభ్యులు 1949 నవంబరు 26వ తేదీన తొలి ముసాయిదా ప్రతులపై సంతకాలు చేశారు. అది 1950 జనవరి 26వ తేదీ నుంచి అమల్లోకి వచ్చింది. రాజ్యాంగ మౌలిక లక్ష్యం సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక, రాజకీయ న్యాయాన్ని అందరికీ అందించడం. కాబట్టి రాజ్యాంగ ముసాయిదా ప్రతుల తొలి సంతకాల రోజైన నవంబరు 26వ తేదీని జాతీయ న్యాయ దినోత్సవంగా ఎంచుకున్నారు. ఈ దినోత్సవం నాడు న్యాయవాదులు సమావేశమై న్యాయాన్ని కాపాడుతామని న్యాయ ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేస్తారు.
